About me

My name is Aranzazu Vizcaino and I have been fond of learning foreign languages and cultures for as long as I can remember. After completing a five-year university degree in Translation and Interpreting, I was nominated Sworn Translator by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs so I could start translating certificates and official documents aimed from English into Spanish and vice versa.

All that freelancing enabled me to move between countries so I took the opportunity to continue studying and working in the UK, Belgium and The Netherlands, where I soon discovered my passion for translating other kind of material such as films and games. That is how I ended up signing up for the master in Audiovisual Translation, covering areas like software localisation, multimedia translation, subtitling and dubbing.
